After more than two decades of studio recording and live performance in Nashville, Los Angeles, and Albuquerque, Craig graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, with the academic distinction of Cum Laude. Craig was also awarded an endorsement in TESOL. This endorsement provides the foundation in the theory and practice of using language to facilitate learning. Craig also obtained his teaching license and certification from the state of New Mexico in 2007.

While employed with the Albuquerque Public School System, Craig instructed and mentored thousands of students, which enabled him to fine tune his organization, communication, and teaching skills.

In a career spanning more than thirty years, Craig has performed and rehearsed with hundreds of professional musicians from various genres.  Craig currently performs in a variety of settings that include solo and duo acoustic and electric performances, and as a lead member of full rock and blues bands.
